John Lancaster was born in Petersfield,
Hampshire UK. Following wartime service with the RAF in India and Burma he entered
Elim Bible college in 1946 and subsequently pastored Elim churches throughout
the UK. He has also lectured in systematic Theology and exercised an extensive
worldwide teaching ministry. Now retired and living in Leeds, he continues to
spend much of his time in preaching and writing.
Reflections is a book for busy people. Its
short articles, selected on a wide spectrum of themes, mean that it can be
taken up and read without having to plow through long chapters. At the same
time, as its sub-title suggests, it gives the reader an opportunity of taking a
fresh look at "timeless truths in changing times" I feel privileged to have permission to reproduce his work in this way. the first blog will appear in early November, so watch this page for practical and inspiring messages from John's Book.
